108 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan.
Feeling like a lazy Sunday brunch with my good friend, we decided to go to The Press Room having not visited it for a while. I had the eggs florentine whilst my friend order an onion soup which looked so good that I couldn’t resist and order one for myself later on. The eggs florentine was done well, the poached eggs was cooked on the outside yet still had a running yolk on the inside. The flavouring was not too heavy and it was served on a lightly toasted muffin. I ordered an orange juice to go with eggs which I have been told was freshly squeeze but actually was pasturised product. The yoghurt with fruit compote was too sour for my taste. My friend’s onion soup looked so good, I had order one for myself (and I was still hungry!). The gruyere cheese that covered the top of the soup was impressive and delicious looking (and it was!). It was one of the better onion soups I had in town though it was a little too salty.
