Hungry Asian Boy

Live to eat!

Lets do lunch at Kitchen 65

Shop 7, 2nd floor, Miramar Shopping Centre, 132 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Walking around Miramar Shopping Centre searching for lunch inspiration, I passed Kitchen 65 who claims their authentic Singapore style Hainanese Chicken Rice is one of the signature dishes. How can you stop me from chicken rice?! The rice was fragrant and you can taste the garlic, chicken stock, shallots to name a few ingredients I could identify. I opted for chicken drum stick and it was tender and sweet. The soup should typically be a mixture of chicken stock, fried shallots, spring onions and tofu but at Kitchen 65 they decided to make it more like a melon soup. Fine with me! The chili sauce adds life to this meal, it is close to the real thing being refreshingly hot but still lacks abit of the fragrance and flavour.
